January 12th, 2024, Arlington, VA – Blake Willson Group is thrilled to be awarded a new task order under our Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) J8 blanket purchase agreement (BPA) to provide audit support to DLA Logistics Operations (J3). BWG will support J3 as they work towards their goal of obtaining an audit opinion of its Working Capital Fund. We are looking forward to working with DLA J3 and continuing support of our warfighters.

DLA Logistics Operations (J3) is a critical component within the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). DLA Logistics Operations (J3) is entrusted with the end-to-end supply chain management of DLA’s nine supply chains. They provide logistics and materiel process management policy, guidance, and oversight. Continuous assessments of supply chain performance are conducted to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

DLA Logistics Operations oversees the entire supply chain, from procurement to distribution, by establishing policies and guidelines related to logistics and material processes. A crucial aspect of the program is ensuring compliance and monitoring supply chain performance. DLA Logistics Operations plays a vital role in supporting our nation’s logistics needs and ensuring the success of our supply chains.

The DLA J8 Task Order is a component within the DLA. DLA Finance (J8) plays a crucial role in enabling DLA’s mission through sound financial stewardship. Their services encompass financial management guidance, planning, advice, and analysis. DLA J8 provides a full spectrum of financial management services and support including accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, Audit Response and Sustainment (ARS), and process management.
