November 13th, 2023, Arlington, VA – For the third year, Blake Willson Group was recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor as a HIRE Vets Gold Medallion Award recipient for our commitment to recruiting, employing, and retaining veterans.

The HIRE Vets Medallion Award is a prestigious recognition program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS). This federal-level award honors companies and organizations that demonstrate a strong commitment to veteran hiring, retention, and professional development.

The HIRE award program aims to acknowledge employers who actively support veterans by providing employment opportunities and fostering their growth within the workforce. To qualify for awards, employers must meet specific criteria related to veteran hiring and retention. The Gold Award requirements are 7% of new hires who are veterans or 75% of veterans retained and 7% percentage veteran employees.
